mobileTake this simple test.

In April of this year Google changed its search algorithm to give mobile-friendly sites a boost in search rankings. This means that websites that are easy for a user to view and navigate on a mobile device will be easier to find on Google’s search engine. If your website is not mobile-friendly, you could be missing out on traffic. That traffic may be going to your competitor if their site is mobile-friendly. With nearly 50% of all search traffic coming from mobile devices now* it’s critical that we stay in the game.

You can read more about this change and the criteria Google uses to determine if a site is mobile-friendly here. You can use this tool to determine if your site is mobile-friendly. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/?utm_source=wmc-blog&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=mobile-friendly

If you determine that your site is not mobile friendly you have a few options:

  1. Depending on the CMS software and theme you are using, simply updating to the latest version(s) may work.
  2. You may be able to migrate your site to a new mobile-responsive theme.
  3. You can build a new mobile-responsive website.
  4. You can install a mobile-friendly plugin.

I would be happy to take a look at your website and let you know which options will work for you. And I can help you implement the best solution for your situation.

I look forward to helping your business take advantage of this boost and the potential increase in business it could provide.
